Scottish Borders Council has used the PeachyKeen Grand Prix Challenge Experience to launch their Tread Lightly initiative with a team building event for staff.
The campaign was designed to encourage their staff to be aware of the resources they use within their individual areas of responsibility in line with their environmental impact – and our experience was the perfect vehicle.
Staff members used our PeachyKeen pods to generate the power to drive their Scalectrix cars around the track.
An added benefit was the event enabled employees to interact (compete) in a very informal situation no matter what level of the organisation they represented.
Whilst it is designed to be a fun event, it can be a little competitive with a lady called Julie also from Scottish Borders Council holding the lap record with a particular track configuration 3.6 seconds to be exact.
So far, no one has come near. If you think you are up to the challenge or want to bring something unique to your next team building event, contact us now.
